Remove/install

Lower power electronics and secure on telescopic lifter

 Do not detach coolant hoses from power electronics. Do not drain off coolant.

Protect detached high voltage connectors against dirt and moisture

Remove rear engine cross member

Detach propeller shaft from transmission

Remove center muffler

Lower automatic transmission as far as possible


Pay attention to the oil lines of the automatic transmission.
Otherwise they may be damaged.

Unscrew bolt (10) from cable duct cover (11) in top of transmission tunnel

 Bolt, hoop guard to transmission

Lift cable duct cover (11) and remove towards the rear

Remove cable duct (2) from underfloor (arrows B)

Unclip cable duct (12) upwards from automatic transmission (arrows A)

Remove bolt (13) from 3-phase plug (4)

 The bolt (13) remains fitted to the 3-phase plug (4).

 Bolt, 3-phase high-voltage line coupling connector to electrical machine housing

Detach 3-phase plug (4) together with cable duct (12) and 3-phase line (5) downwards from electric machine

 Installation:
The metallic band of the 3-phase plug (4) may not be damaged.
Otherwise electromagnetic shielding is not guaranteed.

Secure high-voltage distributor (1) against falling down


The 3-phase line (5) may not be tugged on.
Otherwise it may be damaged.

Remove high-voltage distributor (1) from power electronics
