Remove/install

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove stowage compartment (8).

Disconnect electrical connection (4).

Remove insert (5) from housing (3).

Release housing (3) with pliers (2) and remove from clamping sleeve (6).

The studs of the pliers (2) must engage in the cutouts of the housing (3) (arrows A).

Release clamping sleeve (6) at the two catch hooks (7) and remove from trim (9).

Installation: Observe correct installation position of clamping sleeve (6).

Install in the reverse order.

Check

Carry out function test of cigarette lighter (1).
