Warning

Pour AdBlue into suitable containers only. Wait until the pressure is released before starting any work on the exhaust aftertreatment system.

Remove/install

Switch off ignition.

Disconnect electrical connector (1).

Expose electrical line (2).

Clean AdBlue® container (4) in the area of the AdBlue® fill level and temperature sensor (6).


No soiling may enter the AdBlue® container (4).
Otherwise, failure or malfunction of the exhaust aftertreatment system may occur.

Turn AdBlue® fill level and temperature sensor (6) clockwise and remove from the AdBlue® container (4).

If drips of AdBlue® get onto AdBlue® container (4), the resulting urea crystals can be removed with water and a lint-free dry cloth.

Installation: Check sealing ring (3) for wear and damage; replace if necessary.

Install in the reverse order.
