Deburr repair panels.

Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.

Support exhaust system with a major assembly mount



Release and disconnect electrical connections on actuator motors (1)

Open clamps (2)

 Installation: Replace clamps (2).

 Bolt, rear muffler clamp to pipe

Remove screw/bolts (3) on rear elastomer bearings

 Bolt for exhaust system suspension fastening at the rear

Remove screw/bolts (4) on elastomer bearing next to the transmission

 Bolt for exhaust system suspension fastening at the rear

Remove front reinforcement on frame floor assembly

 Bolt, front reinforcement on frame floor assembly

Remove rear cross strut at frame floor assembly

 Bolt, rear reinforcement to frame floor assembly

Pull out exhaust system to the rear from CATs and remove

 Aid of helper required.

Install in the reverse order

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
