1 | Remove O2 sensor downstream of TWC (G3/1) | Unscrewing the O2ssensor downstream of TWC (G3/1) from the catalytic convertor with center muffler (3) is only necessary when replacing the catalytic convertor with the center muffler (3). | |
2 | Remove rear center muffler (1) | ||
3 | Loosen clamp (5) | | |
4 | Unhinge retaining rubbers (2) at the catalytic convertor with center muffler (3) | Helper required | |
Installation: Check retaining rubbers (2), replace if necessary | |||
5 | Pull catalytic convertor with center muffler (3) out of the exhaust pipe (4) | Helper required | |
6 | Install in the reverse order | ||

7 | Perform engine test run and inspect exhaust system around the catalytic convertor with center muffler (3) for leaks |
