Remove/install

Disconnect flange connection of three-way catalytic converter (4) and front exhaust system

Disconnect flange connection of catalytic converter (4) and main muffler

Detach catalytic converter (4) from rubber mount (1) and lift out

Loosening the two brackets makes it easier to remove the catalytic converter.

Install in the reverse order

Installation

- Check rubber mount (1) and sealing ring (3) for damage and replace if necessary.

- Use emery cloth to remove combustion and corrosion residues at connection points of exhaust pipes.

- Install catalytic converter free of stress.

- Replace nuts
