Remove/install

Remove voltage of high-voltage on-board electrical system.

Remove engine compartment cover.

Clean all high voltage separation points on the high-voltage power distributor (F34/6) thoroughly.


Ensure scrupulous cleanliness.
Otherwise, the high-voltage components might get damaged.

Remove screw (1).

 Screw, holder for HV electric line to high-voltage distributor

Remove the high-voltage plug (2) on the high-voltage power distributor (F34/6) and seal with protective covers.

Ensure utmost care and cleanliness.
Otherwise, damage to the high voltage components may occur.

Unscrew the screws (3) and fold the cover (4) to the left.

 Installation: Replace seal (6).

 Bolt, cover to high-voltage distributor

Clean

Vacuum the inside of the high-voltage power distributor (F34/6) and remove any dirt.


Ensure scrupulous cleanliness.
Otherwise, damage to the high voltage components may occur.

Remove the intermediate cover (5) by lifting it upward.

Unscrew the screws for the defective electrical fuse (7, F34/6f1, F34/6f2, F34/6f3).

Remove the electrical fuse (7, F34/6f1, F34/6f2, F34/6f3).



Clean

Vacuum the inside of the high-voltage power distributor (F34/6) and remove any dirt.


Ensure scrupulous cleanliness.
Otherwise, damage to the high voltage components may occur.

Install in the reverse order

Read out and delete fault memory.


