Remove/install

Remove bottom engine compartment paneling

Remove purging switchover valve (Y58/1) over the underside of the vehicle in the area of the front axle carrier.

Detach vacuum line (1) at purging switchover valve (Y58/1)

Unlock and detach CN for vacuum line (2) on purging switchover valve (Y58/1)

Disconnect electrical plug connector (3) on purge switchover valve (Y58/1)

5

Press catch tab (arrow) on bracket for the purge switchover valve (Y58/1), push purge switchover valve (Y58/1) upwards and remove

6

Install in the reverse order
