Clamp off filling hose (2)

Unscrew screws (4, 5) and remove tensioning straps

 Installation: Note washer for screw (5).

 Screw/bolt, fuel tank bracket to body

Lower fuel tank (1) and unclip fuel lines (6) from fuel tank (1)

 Only lower fuel tank (1) to extent that fuel lines (6) and electrical connector (7) can be accessed.

Release and disconnect fuel lines (6) and seal openings with suitable stop plugs

Release and disconnect electrical connection (7)

Remove fuel tank (1)

Install in the reverse order

 Warning

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Perform engine test run and check fuel system in the area of the fuel tank (1) for leaktightness
