2 | Detach right rear wheel | ||
| Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary | ||
3 | Right Remove fender liner in rear fender | ||
4 | Pinch off the hose (2) at the filler fitting (1) of the fuel tank | To prevent dirt from entering the fuel tank. | |

5 | Loosen hose clamp (3) and hose (2) at the filler neck (1) of the fuel tank | Installation: Check hose (2) and hose clamp (3) for damage, replace if required.. | |
6 | Open fuel filler flap and remove filler cap | ||
7 | Press rubber seal (4) out of bodywork | Installation: Check the rubber seal (4) for damage; replace if necessary. | |
8 | Loosen hose clamps (6) and connecting lines (5) at the filler neck (1) | ||
9 | Loosen hose clamp (8) and vent line (7) at the filler neck (1) | Installation: Inspect hose clamp (8) and vent line (7) for damage, replace if required. | |
10 | Disconnect the hose (10) at the activated charcoal canister (11) | ||
11 | Dismount the ground line of the filler neck (1) at the body | ||
12 | Unscrew bolts (12) and remove filler neck (1) in the downward direction | ||
| Checking | ||
13 | Check the ground attachment point (9) at the filler neck (1) | Installation: Inspect for damage, if necessary replace the filler neck (1). | |
14 | Install in the reverse order | ||
