If fuel tank is full, pump out about 8 liters of fuel

Remove trim for fuel tank in trunk

see Repair Instructions Body Removal and Installation Operations I Model 124
Op. no. 68-480

Unplug coupling (arrow) for fuel gauge sender (B4)

Secure electric cable to prevent it slipping off

Unbolt sealing flange (48/1) and fuel gauge sender (B4), respectively



Take out fuel gauge sender (B4)

Install in the reverse order

Replace O-rings (48/2, 48/3)

 Oil to facilitate installation
