2 | Drain fuel tank (1) | ||
Pay attention to fuel quantity. | |||
3 | Remove right rear body lateral acceleration sensor (B24/6) | ||
4 | Detach fuel hose (2) from fuel tank (1) | Collect remaining fuel, seal connections. | |

5 | Detach fuel hoses (3, 4) from fuel tank (1) | Collect remaining fuel, seal connections. | |

6 | Detach plug from fuel level sensor (B4) | ||
7 | Unscrew nuts (5) and lift out fuel tank (1) | Detach rubber seal from fuel tank (1) filler neck (6). | |
Installation: Ensure correct seating of rubber seal on fuel tank (1) filler neck (6). | |||

8 | Install in the reverse order | ||

9 | Check fuel system for leaks with engine running | ||
