1 | Remove underbody paneling | ||
2 | Support fuel tank (1) with suitable lift (2) | ||
3 | Unscrew screws (4) at fuel cooler (3) and fuel tank (1) | | |
4 | Unscrew nut (5) of fuel cooler (3) at underfloor | ||
5 | Lower fuel tank (1) with fuel cooler (3) | Only lower so far until the fuel cooler thermostat (6) is accessible. | |
6 | Separate quick-release fittings (7) of fuel returns at fuel cooler thermostat (6) | Installation: Ensure correct latching of quick-release fittings (7). | |
7 | Remove clamps (8) at fuel cooler thermostat (6) and detach hoses | ||
8 | Unscrew screw (9) at fuel cooler thermostat (6) | ||
9 | Remove fuel cooler thermostat (6) | ||
10 | Install in the reverse order |
