Depressurize the hydraulic system completely before starting any work on the system. Wear protective clothing and safety glasses.

Remove bolts (3) from rotary valve and control bushing housing (1) and remove the direct steering solenoid valve (Y10) from the rack-and pinion steering (10)

The area surrounding the separation point should be cleaned thoroughly before opening the hydraulic system. Even the smallest dirt particles, introduced into the hydraulic components, can lead to malfunctions and a total failure of the hydraulic system.

Installation: Replace bolts (3) and sealing ring on direct steering solenoid valve (Y10). Ensure that the sealing ring is correctly seated.
