Remove

Remove cotter pin and castle nut (1) from the tie rod arm.

Remove the tie rod (2) between the knuckle arm and tie rod arm by pressing out the ball joints using special tool puller.

Install

Install the tie rod (2) to the knuckle arm and tie rod arm by tightening the castle nut on both ends of the tie rod.

Insert the cotter pin into the ball joint and castle nut using cutting pliers.
