Remove wheels

Unscrew nut (1)

Pull ball head (2) off pitman arms.

Slacken lock nut (3)

Unscrew ball head (2) from tie rod (4).

Installation aid: label installation position of ball head

Install

Screw ball head (2) to tie rod (4).

Pay attention to marking due to rough adjustment of toe-in

Press ball head (2) on tie rod (4) firmly into socket.

Clean grease off conical joint prior to installation

Tighten nut (1) for ball head.

Adjust toe-in and tighten lock nut (3) connecting tie rod to ball head
