Remove front wheels

Remove brake pads from the front axle

Remove brake caliper on front axle

 Do not detach brake hose

 Put brake caliper to one side so that the brake hose is not damaged.

 Installation: Ensure that the brake hose is not mounted twisted.

Remove front brake disk

Unscrew nut (1), flange ball joint (2) to tie rod end (3)

 Installation: Do not use an impact wrench.

Counterhold with fork wrench or ring wrench at hexagon (arrow) of flange ball joint (2).

Replace nut (1).



Use puller to pry tie rod end (3) off flange ball joint (2)

 Puller

Unscrew nuts (4), flange ball joint (2) to swivel bearing

 Installation: Do not use an impact wrench, tighten the nuts (4) using a torque wrench

Counterhold at the bolts (5).

Replace the nuts (4).



Pull out bolts (5) and remove flange ball joint (2)

 Installation: Observe direction of installation of bolts (5), see pictures.

 Installation: Replace bolts (5).
