Clamp off the steering hoses with one clamp each.

Detach both steering lines.
Seal line ends and connections using suitable stop plugs. Collect escaping power steering fluid in a suitable container and dispose of in an environmentally-compatible manner.
Installation: Use an open end wrench to counterhold the screw-in fitting on the steering gear housing when tightening to the torque value.
