Remove/install

Connect diagnostic system and perform initial startup

When replacing electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) (N73).



Remove left cover below instrument panel

Unhook left footwell air duct segment

 Do not completely remove air duct segment.

Release catch hooks (1) and swivel electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) (N73) out of retaining frame (2)

 Installation: The electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) (N73) must latch audibly into place.

Disconnect electrical connector from electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) (N73) and remove electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) (N73)

Install in the reverse order



Perform function test of electronic ignition lock control unit (EZS) (N73)
