Remove/install

Remove left cover under the instrument panel

Plug electronic ignition key into ignition switch

The fastening bolt (37m) can only be removed if the electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) is unlocked.

Turn the attachment pin (37m) to the recess and remove.

Guide electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) backwards out of jacket tube (71)

Installation: Move electric steering lock control unit (N26/5) with the front surface (arrow) into the jacket tube (71).

Unplug electrical connector (37p) at electric steering lock control unit (N26/5).

Install in the reverse order
