Remove/install

Adjust steering wheel all the way forward and up.

Deactivate easy entry and exit feature for steering wheel.

with code 275 (Memory package)

Remove trim under instrument panel on driver's side.

Separate steering coupling from steering shaft (2).

Remove screw (1) and detach steering shaft (2) from steering column tube (3).

 Installation: Replace screw/bolt (1).

 Self-locking bolt, lower steering shaft to upper steering shaft

Loosen retaining clips (4) and remove steering shaft (2) with boot (5) upward.

 Pay attention to installation position.

Remove boot (5) in direction of arrow from steering shaft (2).

 Installation:
Model 257.### 2#
Attach seal all the way round (arrow A).
Otherwise, engine noise may be heard in the vehicle interior.

 Pay attention to installation position.
