Remove the cover (4) from the steering wheel (2)

Loosen the nut (3) from the steering column (1)
Installation: Check the reference markings (arrow) for aligning and installing the steering wheel (2) on the steering column (1).

Remove the steering wheel (2)
On vehicles with keys on the steering wheel (2), be careful not to damage the contact spiral (5) and its electric harness/connectors.

Loosen the screws (6) and remove the contact spiral (2)
Type 382.111/123/15/17/18, 634.0
Prevent that the contact spiral (5) exit from the zero position, fixing them with adhesive tape, thus maintaining the alignment of the electrical connectors (Arrow).
Installation: Observe the mounting marking of the contact spiral (5).
