Remove/install

Remove engine cover.



 Installation: Only install engine cover after the leak test.

Remove upper section of air filter housing.

Release and disconnect vacuum line (4), seal exposed connections using suitable stop plugs and place vacuum line (4) to one side.

Remove bolt (5) from coolant pipe (2).

Remove bolts (3) from vacuum pump (1).

Push coolant line (2) carefully to one side and remove vacuum pump (1) upwards.

 Installation:
Insert vacuum pump (1) carefully.
Otherwise, the seal may slip or be damaged.

 Installation: Clean sealing surfaces and replace gasket.
Check for correct positioning of vacuum pump driver (1).

Install in the reverse order.
