| Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts | ||
1 | Remove left front seat | ||
2 | Remove scuff plate (1) | ||
3 | Fold floor covering (2) far enough to one side until the yaw rate sensor for lateral and longitudinal acceleration (B24/15) is accessible | ||
4 | Disconnect electrical connector (3) on yaw rate, lateral and longitudinal acceleration sensor (B24/15) | ||
5 | Unscrew nuts (4) and remove yaw rate sensor for lateral and longitudinal acceleration (B24/15) from floor panel | Handle sensor (B24/15) with care. It is sensitive to impact and can therefore be easily damaged. | |

6 | Install in the reverse order | ||
7 | Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read and erase diagnostic trouble code memory | ||
8 | Carry out road test using STAR DIAGNOSIS | Under "control units" - "chassis" - "Adaptive Brake" - "control unit adaptations" select the "road test" menu item and process all steps. |
