Remove/install

Danger !

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Remove respective front wheel

Remove fender liner front section in front fender

Remove left front axle rpm sensor (L6/1), or right front axle rpm sensor (L6/2) from steering knuckle

Remove wiring harness (1)

For this, remove electrical wiring harness (1) from the brackets on transverse control arm and longitudinal member.

Installation: Ensure that the electrical wiring harness (1) is correctly routed.

Remove left front axle rpm sensor (L6/1), right front axle rpm sensor (L6/2)

To do this, disconnect electrical connector (2).

Install in the reverse order

Check function of left front axle rpm sensor (L6/1), right front axle rpm sensor (L6/2) using Star Diagnosis

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
