Remove drive shaft (1)

Mark flange (5) with universal joint and drive shaft (1) relative to each other

Remove front propeller shaft from flange (5)

Remove circlip (6)

Detach flange (5) and propeller shaft center support bearing from drive shaft (1)

Remove butting ring (2)

Detach propeller shaft center support bearing from flange (5)

Remove butting ring (4)



Check

Check propeller shaft center support bearing for damage and replace, if necessary

Check butting ring (2) for damage and replace, if necessary

Check butting ring (4) for damage and replace, if necessary

Install

Position butting ring (4) onto drive shaft (1)

Press propeller shaft center support bearing onto flange (5)

Position flange (5) and propeller shaft center support bearing onto drive shaft (1)

Attach retaining ring (6)

Mount front propeller shaft onto flange (5)

 Bolt, flange with propeller shaft intermediate bearing to propeller shaft

Install propeller shaft (1)
