1 Insert projector into the projector bracket of the front wheel to be measured.

2 Turn front end of wheel 20° outwards. Observe scale of turntable at wheel to be measured (1).

3 Set dial (12) for steering axis inclination measurement to 0 with the scale of the wheel to be measured using knob (11).

4 Turn front end of wheel 20° inwards. Observe scale of turntable.

5 Turn rotary knob (11) until bubble level is at center.
6 Read off size of steering axis inclination at dial (12).
7 Carry out steering axis inclination measurement on the other front wheel of the vehicle in the same manner.
