The divergence measuring procedure (expansion) depends on the equipment. Refer to the operating manual of the respective equipment to be utilized.

| Position the projector (5) with the fastening pin for measuring the expansion on the projector support (4)

| Turn the wheel to the left on the rotating plate (6) by angle (a)
|

| Place the projector (5) horizontally in vehicle longitudinal direction and tighten the wing screw
|

| Set the scale ring to measure the expansion (33) to zero on the wheel to be measured
|

| Turn the wheel to the right on the rotating plate (6) by angle (a)
|

| Turn the button (29) until the level is centered
|
7
| Read out the indicated value on the scale ring to measure the expansion (33)
For example:
"right wheel expansion" 5º.

| Record the measuring value on the alignment form

| Carry out the expansion measurement of the other wheel the same way
