Remove

Detach tire.

Detach and remove valve nut (3) from valve body (4).

Remove tire pressure sensor (1) with valve body (4) from disk wheel.

Remove seal (6) and support ring (7) from valve body (4).

Press out valve body (4) at tire pressure sensor (1).

When reusing tire pressure sensor (1).



Clean

Clean tire pressure sensor (1) with clean, lint-free cloth.


Do not use compressed air, solvent and cleaner.
Otherwise, the tire pressure sensor (1) may be damaged.

 The tire pressure sensor (1) can also be reused after using TIREFIT tire sealant.

If there is residue remaining on the diaphragm opening after cleaning.



Replace tire pressure sensor (1).

Clean disk wheel in the area of the valve bore.



Install

Replace valve body (4) and valve element (8).

When reusing tire pressure sensor (1).

 Insert square of valve body (4) into guide at tire pressure sensor (1) so that it is fixed into its position.

Attach support ring (7) and seal (6) at valve body (4).

 The centering cone on the support ring (7) must sit correctly in the contour of the tire pressure sensor (1) (arrow).

Insert valve body (4) with freely moving tire pressure sensor (1) from inside to outside into valve bore of disk wheel.

Attach valve nut (3) at valve body (4).

 When tightening valve nut (3), press tire pressure sensor (1) slightly into drop center and in direction of valve bore of disk wheel.

Mount the tire.
