Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Disconnect electrical connection (1)

Remove control unit (3)

To do this, unscrew the nuts on the retaining clips (2). The retaining clips (2) are destroyed here.

Installation: Fit new retaining clips (2) onto control unit (3) and press control unit (3) onto threaded pin. The retaining clips (2) latch into place while doing so.

Install in the reverse order

Commission control unit (3) using vehicle diagnosis system

When replacing the control unit (3).

Connect/disconnect diagnostic unit
