| Heat up both tapered roller bearings (2) to approx. 80 °C.
|

| Drive on tapered roller bearing (2) as far as the end stop using a suitable drift (1).
|

| Check contact of tapered roller bearings (2) with differential case using feeler gauge (thickness 0.05 mm).
|
|
| The tapered roller bearings (2) must be flush.
|
