Retainer wrench

1	Unlock the collar nut (2) using a suitable tool.

2	Install the  locking key on the drive flange (1) and remove the collar nut (2).

 Do not use pneumatic device to loosen the collar nut (2) as it can cause damage to the tapered roller bearings.

3	Install the  extractor on the drive flange (1) and extract.

 Check the drive flange (1) for damage in internal spline and the contact surface with the radial retainer.
