| Notes on self-locking nuts and bolts | ||
| While working on the rear axle, care must be taken to ensure that the surface of aluminum components do not get any scratches, cracks and notches. Otherwise the service life of the parts will be affected | ||
| Tighten nuts and bolts of chassis components only when vehicle is in the ready-to-drive condition. | ||
1 | Secure vehicle on the lifting platform | ||
2 | Remove rear wheel | ||
| Remove/install wheels, rotate if necessary | ||
3 | Raise wheel carrier (7) using transmission jack and transmission platform until rear axle shaft (37) is roughly horizontal | | |

4 | Detach camber strut (2) from wheel carrier (7) | | |
5 | Detach camber strut (2) from rear axle carrier (1) | | |
6 | Remove camber strut (2) | ||
7 | Install in the reverse order | ||
8 | Perform chassis alignment |
