Removal
1 Remove bolt (2) from clamping nut (1).
2 Unscrew clamping nut (1) and remove with thrust plate (3).
3 Remove wheel hub with tapered roller bearing (4) and brake disk from front steering knuckle.

Replace radial shaft seal
4 Remove radial shaft seal.
5 Thoroughly grease inner wheel bearing and insert.
6 Coat new radial shaft sealing ring on outer circumference with sealant and use punch (5) to drive flush into the wheel hub.
Do not smear partially-rubberized sealing rings with sealing compound.

Attaching
7 Mount the wheel hub with brake disk onto the front steering knuckle.
8 Thoroughly grease outer wheel bearing (4) and insert.
9 Mount thrust plate (3) and screw-on clamping nut (1).
10 Tighten bolt (2) on clamping nut (1) lightly.
