Screw/bolt for clamp nut for adjusting wheel bearing play

 Position dial indicator holder (1) and  dial indicator (2) as shown on the wheel hub (6) at the front.

Tight safety screw (a) of clamp nut (10) Model 909 with front axle 730.409/411, 732.212  .

Move wheel hub (6) forcibly in axial direction and read off wheel bearing play on  dial indicator (2).

If necessary, release safety bolt (a) and adjust wheel bearing play by slackening off or tightening the clamp nut (10).

Tighten safety bolt (a) again and measure wheel bearing play again.

 Remove dial indicator holder (1) and  dial indicator (2).
