Clamp shock absorber (1) in a vise and remove rubber mount with (01)

Clean bearing eye

Install

Coat bearing sleeve (3), rubber mount (2) and bearing eye of shock absorber with lubricant

Use commercially available dishwashing liquid as lubricant.

Press bearing sleeve (3) into rubber mount (2) until flush when fitted in vise

Press rubber mount together with bearing sleeve into bearing eye

Detach installer

Clamp shock absorber at the newly inserted bearing sleeve (3) in vise. Center rubber mount and sleeve in bearing eye.

Install shock absorber
