Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove/install

Remove shock absorbers.

Remove left and right air suspension bellows.

Remove torsion bar linkages of right and left level sensors from respective retaining plate of rear axle spring.

Remove control arm.

Remove compressed-air lines from supporting frame (1).

Remove supporting frame (1).

 To do this, remove screws (2).

 Screw, supporting frame to vehicle frame

Detach left section of supporting frame (1) from right section of supporting frame (1).

If sections of supporting frame (1) are replaced.

 Screw, supporting frame to supporting frame

Install in the reverse order.

 Compressor, valve unit, air suspension bellows, level sensor, compressed-air reservoir, crossmember
