Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove

1

Remove left and right level sensor from supporting frame (1).

Remove left and right air suspension bellows.

Remove control arm from supporting frame (1).

Detach lines (2) from supporting frame (1).

Remove strut of supporting frame (1) for air suspension.

Remove supporting frame (1).

 The left and right crossmember together form the supporting frame (1).
To do so, remove bolts (3).



Install

Assemble left and right crossmember.

When replacing the left or right crossmember.

 To do so, insert spacer plate in cutout (4).

 Commercially available devices/tools
Spacer plate, 8 mm

Install supporting frame (1).

 The left and right crossmember together form the supporting frame (1).
Screw in bolts (3) to do this.

 Screw, crossmember to reinforcement

Remove spacer plate from cutout (4).

When replacing the left or right crossmember.

Install strut of supporting frame (1) for air suspension.

Attach control arm to supporting frame (1).
