Remove/install

 Danger

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between vehicle lift columns and position the four support plates at the vehicle lift support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Remove rear bumper.

Unscrew bolts (6) and remove trailer socket (X58, X58x1).

Release and disconnect the electrical connection (8).

Remove electrical wiring harness from trailer hitch (1) and ball neck.

Unscrew bolts (4) and remove trailer hitch (1).

 Aid of helper required.

 Screw/bolt, trailer hitch to longitudinal member reinforcement

Install in the reverse order.

Check function of trailer hitch (1) with electrical release.

Check function of lighting signals on trailer hitch mains outlet (1).

 Aid of helper required.
