Remove/install

Remove accelerator pedal.

Remove cover (5).

Remove trim at bottom for instrument panel on driver's side.

Remove air duct (3) in driver footwell.

Release and disconnect electrical connector of brake light switch (S9/1).

Remove electrical wiring harness from brake pedal (1).

Remove safety screw (4).

Installation: Replace the safety screw (4).

Unscrew nuts (2).

Nut, pedal assembly to firewall

Remove brake pedal (1) from driver footwell.

Transfer brake light switch (S9/1).

When replacing the brake pedal.

Install in the reverse order.
