1 Pierce bellows (3) symmetrically. The holes that are made must have a diameter of 6 mm.
Make three holes per side in the first fold. Make four holes per side in the second fold.
2 Remove the material that was cut out from the bellows, clean bellows.

3 Mark floor covering cutout around brake pedal (A).
4 Cut floor covering according to markings. Check that cutout matches exactly with pedal seal.
Make sure that loose floor covering parts do not enter the interior of the pedal assembly area.

5 Check pedal assembly seal (4).
Make sure that the pedal assembly seal (4) is fastened all the way around on the bracket (5).
If necessary, fasten any loose areas of the pedal assembly seal (4) again using suitable adhesive onto the bracket (5).
6 Insert bracket (5) with pedal assembly seal (4).
Make sure that the bracket (5) is seated all the way around into its guide (arrows) on the boot (3).
7 Remove remains of floor covering and eliminate dirt and waste.
