Remove/install

Remove bottom paneling for dashboard on driver side

Remove retaining clip (1) and take out trim (2)

 Installation: Insert retaining clip (1) into attachment point and press firmly.

Remove accelerator pedal

Release and disconnect electrical connector (3) at brake light switch (S9/1)

Remove screw (4) from brake booster

 Installation: Replace screw (4).

 Bolt, brake pedal brake booster retaining bolt

Unscrew nuts (5).

 Nut, pedal assembly to firewall

Remove pedal assembly (7) until the electrical wiring harness is accessible

Loosen electrical wiring harness from pedal assembly (7) at retaining clips (6) and remove pedal assembly (7)

 Installation: Replace retaining clips (6) if necessary.

Install in the reverse order
