1 | Adjust driver's seat to the rear | ||
2 | Unplug electrical connection for brake engagement located beneath the driver's seat | ||
3 | Loosen lock on covering of hand operating level for accelerator and brake (3) | ||
4 | Unscrew bolt (1) of link rod (2) from hand-control lever for accelerator and brake (3) | ||
5 | Remove connecting rod (2) | ||
6 | Unscrew the bolts (4) from the supports (5) at the fronts of the seat rails | | |
7 | Remove support (5) with hand-control lever for accelerator and brake (3) | Installation: Check the hand-control lever to ensure that no undo resistance to motion is present. | |
8 | Unscrew bolts (6) for accelerator rod bracket to accelerator pedal | Remove accelerator rod bracket. | |
9 | Unscrew bolts (7) from linkage rod at brake pedal | Installation: Ensure that the linkage rod is attached to the brake pedal in the correct position. | |
10 | Remove the bolt backplate (7) along with the entire linkage rod assembly | ||
11 | Install in the reverse order | ||
12 | Perform function check | Check operation of brake lights, accelerator pedal and parking brake using hand-control lever. |
