Wear protective gloves, protective clothing and safety glasses.
Do not pour transmission oil into beverage bottles.

Remove

1

Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmission range (min. 2  m).

Remove rear engine compartment lining at bottom.

Thoroughly clean oil pan in area of drain screw.

Assembly cleaner

Drain transmission oil from oil pan.

Do not pry off overflow pipe from the base of the oil pan.
The oil pan must be removed in order to remount the overflow pipe.

Disconnect electrical connector (2).

Unscrew bolts (3).

Remove auxiliary oil pump (1) from torque converter housing.

Remove fittings (4) from auxiliary oil pump (1).

 The fittings (4) must be replaced after each disassembly of the auxiliary oil pump (1).



Install

Install new fittings (4) into auxiliary oil pump (1).

Position auxiliary oil pump (1) on torque converter housing.

Tighten bolts (3).

Connect electrical connection (2).

Fill transmission with oil.

Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.

Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.

Check auxiliary oil pump (1) for leak tightness with engine running.

Install rear engine compartment lining at bottom.
