Remove

Remove main components of transmission

Disassemble

Remove radial bearing (11l)



Check

Check the contact surface and radial bearing (11l) for swirl marks and damage

 Replace radial bearing (11l) as per findings.

Remove Torlon rings (1a)

Remove thrust bearing (2d)



Check

Check the contact surface and radial bearing (arrow in picture 1) in the output shaft guide for swirl marks and damage

 Replace thrust bearing (2d) and radial bearing as per findings. Pay attention to installation position.

Remove retaining ring (105s) and end disk (105)

Remove clutch pack (5) and disk spring (5t)



Check

Check clutch pack (5) for scorch marks and wear.

 Replace affected disks if required by findings.

Place drive shaft (11) in lever press

Fit assembly device (076) on spring cup (11f)

Operate lever press and expose retaining ring groove (104)


Stop lever press stroke as soon as accessibility is sufficient.
Excess force can cause damage.

Remove retaining ring (11s)

Reset lever press

Remove assembly device (076) and drive shaft (11) from lever press

Remove spring cup (11f).

Remove disk spring (11t)

Remove piston (11k)



Assemble

Install piston (11k)

 Replace seal.

Install disk spring (11t)

 Insert the disk spring (11t) in such a way that the curvature of the inner circumference points toward the spring cup (11f).

Position spring cup (11f)

 Replace seal. The rounded edge of the sealing ring must face outwards.

Place drive shaft (11) in lever press

Fit assembly device (076) on spring cup (11f)

Operate lever press and expose retaining ring groove (104)


Stop lever press stroke as soon as accessibility is sufficient.
Excess force can cause damage.


Position the spring cup (11f) precisely in order to prevent it from tilting.
Otherwise the transmission components may be damaged.

Install retaining ring (11s)

Remove assembly device (076) and drive shaft (11) from lever press

Install disk spring (5t) and clutch pack (5)

 Insert the disk spring (5t) in such a way that the curvature of the inner circumference points toward the piston (11k).

Install end disk (105).

Install retaining ring (105s)



Measure

Measure and adjust clearance
