Remove/install

1

Remove planetary gear set 2 and multiplate clutch K38 with ring gear.

Remove drive shaft (1).

Replace sealing rings (2, 3).


Do not overstretch the new sealing rings (2, 3).
Otherwise, the sealing rings (2, 3) may be damaged.

 Installation: Slide sealing rings (2, 3) onto sleeve (4), mount sleeve (4) onto drive shaft (1) and carefully remove sealing rings (2, 3) from drive shaft (1).

Check needle bearings (5, 6) for damage.

If a needle bearing is damaged,



replace corresponding needle bearing.

Remove snap ring (7).

Remove planetary gear set 1 (8) with multidisk brake B08 (9).

Remove multidisk brake B08 (9) from planetary gear set 1 (8) and check for damage.

If the multidisk brake B08 (9) is damaged,



replace multidisk brake B08 (9).

Remove multiplate clutch K81 (10) and check for damage.

If the multiplate clutch K81 (10) is damaged,



replace multiplate clutch K81 (10).

Install in the reverse order

Finishing activity

10

Measure end play of drive shaft (1) and adjust, if necessary.
