

Ensure absolute cleanliness, use only lint-free cloths.

 Contamination within the transmission represents a potential source of damage.

Remove electrohydraulic control unit

Connector (B91.1) can only be disconnected after removing the induction-type pulse generator (B91).

Detach cable of connector (B91.1) from retaining clamp (2)

Unscrew torx bolt (1)

 Ensure that the torx bolt (1) and spacer (3) do not fall into the transmission.

 Spacer (3) is only installed with engines OM611, OM 601 D23 LA and M111 E23.



Remove induction-type pulse generator (B91) and disconnect connector (B91.1)

 Lift clip (arrow) with screwdriver until the connector (B91.1) can be disconnected.
 Installation: Clip (arrow) must engage securely in induction-type pulse generator (B91).
