1 | Remove front floor covering | ||
2 | Remove air ducting (10) | ||
3 | Use suitable tool to pry off ball heads of shift cables (3) on the bearing bracket (1) | ||
4 | Remove bracket (2) | ||
5 | Loosen shift cables (3) from brackets at bearing bracket (1) | ||
6 | Unplug connector (4) | ||
7 | Detach electrical lines (5, 6) at bearing bracket (1) | ||
8 | Remove clip (9) | Installation: Replace clip (9). | |
9 | Remove bracket (7) | ||
10.1 | Pull shift lever knob (8) upwards and remove with boot. | Only when installing new bearing bracket (1). | |
11 | Remove bearing bracket (1) from center tunnel | | |
12 | Install in the reverse order | ||
13 | Read out fault memory | ||
