Remove/install

Remove cover (1).


To do this, release cover (1) from below, as shown, using  long wedge, push upwards and pull to the rear when removing.
Otherwise, the cover (1) may be damaged.

Remove shift lever knob (3).

 Unscrew bolt (2) to do this.

Remove spring (4).

Remove boot (5).

 To do this, unclip boot (5) using long wedge and remove boot (5) upwards.

 Installation: Check for correct installation position of boot (5) in guides (arrows). Check locks (6) of boot (5).

In the case of damage,



Replace boot (5).

Install in the reverse order.
