Inspecting

1 Fit gearwheel (1) and synchronizer ring (2) together.

2 Determine gap between synchronizer ring (2) and gearwheel (1) using feeler gauge (3).

If the determined gap is below the wear limit

replace synchronizer ring (2) and, if necessary, gearwheel (1).
